The lower chamber of the Polish Parliament adopted a resolution which accuses the Russian authorities of “manipulating history”. About it reports RBC-Ukraine with reference to the press service of the Seimas.
The resolution States that the USSR and Nazi Germany bear equal responsibility for the outbreak of the Second world war.
Document the Seimas of the Republic of Poland condemns the provocative and untrue statements by the representatives of the Supreme authorities of the Russian Federation, accusing Poland at the outbreak of the Second world war.
The paper argues that the outbreak of war led to the policy of the two totalitarian powers – Germany and the Soviet Union and the conclusion of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact.
“The first victims of both totalitarian regimes were Poland and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe”, – said in the Sejm.
The document was adopted in the first reading a simplified procedure of voting (by acclamation).
