Private space company Rocket Lab is preparing for its tenth execution of the mission. It is expected that the launch will be held on 29 November. Important for the company’s tenth mission called “the Race of the fingers”. It Rocket Lab plans to implement the technology developed with the goal of reusing elements of its missiles.
After creating the Electron rocket, which flies only in one direction, to deliver cargo into orbit, Rocket Lab announced that it will move in the direction of re-use missiles. To achieve this goal, the company has been developing technology that will allow the reuse of rocket engines of the first stage Electron, according to Techcrunch.
The main goal of the mission
The rocket must deliver to orbit a number of small satellite customers. Usually there are universities, private companies and researchers. In addition, Rocket Lab will have its first recovery tools on-Board Electron systems, including guidance and navigation, telemetry, and hardware in computer flight.
All of this will be used to collect real-time data about the process of re-entry to the first stage Electron. The company also plans to apply the system to control the engine during its return.

What is known about the Electron rocket?Electron – rocket light class, intended for commercial launches of micro – and nano-satellites, allows us to derive a payload weighing up to 150 kilograms into sun-synchronous orbit with altitude of 500 kilometers or up to 250 pounds in low earth orbit.
Fully developed and manufactured by new Zealand-American company Rocket Lab. In the category of Electron became the undisputed leader – though around the world about hundreds of startups working on light rockets with similar payload capacity, for commercial launches yet managed to go only Rocket Lab. Thanks to these successes and the overall image of the company it is often compared to SpaceX.
The return of rocket
The principle of the return Rocket Lab is significantly different from that which SpaceX uses to return its missiles and use them again. To slow down, the rocket will release the brake the dome, and then parafoil. With the help of a helicopter the stage will be exposed to the air brake lines of the dome and to deliver to the ship in the fall stage.

From a technical point of view, such a path is somewhat simpler compared to that used by the company Ilona Mask.
What is known about Rocket Lab?American private space company, with its subsidiary in New Zealand. The main goal of the company is to develop a light, efficient commercial rockets for delivery into orbit small loads, such as satellites of the CubeSat format.
