An unpleasant incident occurred during a match of the 29th round of the championship of Scotland between “Hibernian” and “Rangers” (1:1).
Defender and captain guest James Tavernier was attacked from the fans of the hosts right on the field.
James in debt left and entered into a short fight with a fan. Police quickly corrected his mistake, tied up the bully and took him from the field.
Executive Director of “Hibernian” Leanne Dempster has promised to punish the guilty fans to the fullest extent. According to her, any bully who is endangering the players, employees of the club or other fans, will face a ban on visiting the stadium or even criminal article.
The Rangers ranked second in the Scottish Premier League (59 points). The leader is “Celtic”, which has 66 points and a game in hand. “Hibernian” (42 points) is in 6th position.
