Serbian progressive party won 188 out of 250 seats in Parliament
Election Commission of Serbia Sunday, July 5 released the official results of the parliamentary elections. Absolute victory in elections won by the Serbian progressive party (SNS) President Aleksandar Vučić.
According to the results of the election of SPP received 60,65% of the votes, which is equal to 188 seats out of 250 parliamentary seats of the Parliament. Thus, the ruling party were able to form a Cabinet.
Also, the Parliament passed the socialist party of Serbia – at 10.38% and 32 seats, and the block SAVED – 3,83% and 11 mandates.
In addition to the National Assembly by the quota of minorities have been Union of Hungarians of Vojvodina – 9 mandates, the coalition’s former chief mufti of Muamara of Zukorlic and Macedonians – 4 seats Party of democratic action of Sandzak (Slavic Muslims) – 3 mandates, and the Albanian coalition from the South of Serbia – MP 3.
Just in the elections took part 21 parties, 14 of which failed to pass the threshold of 3%.
Also RBC-Ukraine wrote that Serbia will not recognize Kosovo’s independence in exchange for membership in the European Union.
