In St. Petersburg opened an exhibition of Egor Letov and Paul Belan called “Pryg-Skok”. It takes place in the Museum of modern art “the cluster’s premises” and will last until 5 March 2019.
The organisers report that the exhibition is conceived as a reaction to the Siberian punk-poetry. An embodiment is considered to be the work of Egor Letov, the Yankees Dyagilevo, Black lukić, Dmitry Selivanov and brothers Lishchenko. Exhibits for the exhibition provided by Letov’s widow Natalia Chumakova and inspirer Paul Bilanom.
The exhibition traces three main lines: red (modernist continuity Mayakovsky), black – death in all forms, and what is death, poetry… Color – movement in psychedelic experiments. The exhibition begins Letowski the collage, which you can see on the envelope of the album “Pryg-Skok”, and ends with the same installation. Presents the work of sculptor Paul Belan, made of different materials, form the entrance to that space, inviting the viewer to the panel-“Russian field of experiments” – said in a press release.
In addition to artistic works, the exhibition also presents the texts of Egor Letov, the Yankees Dyagilevo, Vadim Kuzmin, Evgeny Lishchenko, Roman Neumoev, Constantine Rabinowe, prints, autographs and collages Letov, archival photos and video.
The Museum of modern art “the cluster’s premises” is located in Saint-Petersburg at 13-I Lin. V., 70-72. Hours: 11:00 – 22:00. Admission is free.
