In the Maritime security of Ukraine tightened control over the state border the available forces and means. Also consulted with representatives of the U.S. Embassy and examines the immediate prospects for deployment of new technical equipment, logistics, selection and training. This is stated in the message of the SBS.
“During the week of ship-boat composition of the Maritime security during the planned outputs for the service provided support to ships of foreign route from their entry into the territorial sea of Ukraine till the moment of arrival at the destination port. This practice enables us to strengthen security measures to avoid attempts of illegal approach to the ships small boats, the implementation of other illegal activities in the territorial sea of Ukraine”, – stated in the message.
The results of the work among the members of the crews of foreign vessels identified 11 citizens of Ukraine and 1 citizen of the Russian Federation, has violated the rules of entry and exit from the temporarily occupied territories. Citizens of Ukraine were brought to administrative responsibility with the imposition of a fine of 1700 UAH each.
The citizen of the Russian Federation are prohibited entry into Ukraine for a period of 3 years. We also study the probability of belonging of individuals to the appropriate organization regarding the violation of border legislation.
According to the investigative units of the Marine guard, together with representatives of the departments of the border service of the Azov-black sea and southern regional offices in several ports on vessels of the foreign sequence was carried out a complex of measures.
With the participation of the officers of the Regional Department of sea protection was held a number of meetings, including with foreign partners on the improvement of the lighting system surface conditions and continue deployment of new objects of infrastructure of Sea protection.
At a joint meeting with colleagues from the Navy and heads of the EXBS Program and the Office of defense cooperation at the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine determined priorities until 2022 from upgrading the posts of technical supervision, exercises, establishment of heavy-duty radar before the creation of the joint centre of Maritime operations.
