In the lower house of Parliament introduced a bill providing for platicarte to increase the fine for violation of the rules of crossing the railway track.
Members of the legislative Assembly of the Leningrad region introduced in the lower house of Parliament a bill providing for a fivefold increase of the fine for crossing railway tracks outside the crossing – 5000 rubles. About it reports Agency “Moscow”.
“The bill proposes to increase to 5 thousand rubles administrative fine for crossing the railway track outside a railway crossing, departure on a railway crossing at the closed or closed barrier or at a forbidding signal of a traffic light or the person on duty on moving, and equally stop or Parking on a railway crossing”, – stated in the explanatory note to the document.
The authors of the bill specify that tougher penalties are required in connection with high severity of accidents on railway crossings, which remain the most dangerous road sections.
According to statistics, the majority of accidents at crossings due to gross violations of traffic rules caused by the driver’s negligence, overconfidence or intoxication.
At the moment, for violation of the rules of crossing the railway the way of a penalty in the amount of 1000 rubles or deprivation of a driving licence for a period of three to six months.
