“The first is offensive diplomacy. This means that we are not waiting until Russia would say something, or try to impose, but propose, initiate, create situations, which are forced to respond to Russia, and not Vice versa,” he said.

As an example of offensive diplomacy Kuleba led the initiative of Ukraine to hold meetings of the Minsk group in an online format during a pandemic coronavirus, raising the status of the Ukrainian delegation in Minsk and the introduction of new individuals, including migrants from the Donbass.

The second direction of pressure of the Kremlin is working with international partners. Kuleba reminded about the restoration of the Normandy format at the level of Ministers and the visits of the Ukrainian delegation in Paris and Berlin in the last weeks.

“The third element is the sharp intensification of the promotion of the Crimea in the international arena. We are now very seriously working to bring the Crimea from the shadows,” he concluded.
