State service center for seafarers started in Odessa
In Odessa, the Ministry of infrastructure has launched a state-owned enterprise “Morrisseys” accessibility of state services in the sphere of sea and river transport. It is reported RBC-Ukraine, citing the press service of the Ministry.
Until 2019 it is planned to launch such centres in Mariupol, Kherson and Izmail and to open an online account, which may be used as sailors and ship owners.
“In the centres this is the first time in one location a sailor can receive all necessary services – from passing the state qualification Commission in order to renew documents. In addition, our goal is to combine all services in the field of Maritime and river transport at one location,” – said the head of the State service of Maritime and river transport of Ukraine Dmytro Petrenko.
In General, in GP the “Torricelli” plan to provide organizational and technical support of the necessary 75 sailors of services and subsequently expand the list of possibilities of development of the enterprise with the aim of providing all services to seafarers in the same area.
