Microsoft is going to get rid of useful and handy component “control Panel” in Windows (Control Panel). Users expect to fully translate to the Settings app.
For the first time “Settings,” appeared in Windows 8, then users perceived them negatively, because they were greatly curtailed compared to the “control Panel”, like Windows Latest.
What will happen to the “control Panel”
Refers to the part of “the System” in “control Panel” which gives basic information about your computer including OS, CPU and RAM, quick links to the support sites and so on.
“Control panel” in Windows 10 will replace the Settings app
In a recent test build of Windows 10 Build 20161 for developers section “System” in control panel now just redirects users to the Settings app.
How it will react to users
This can cause resentment on the part of users. The Settings app debuted with the launch of Windows 8 and was criticized for excessive simplification and reduced form compared to previous tools Windows. However, over the past years, the Settings app has been modified in the modern versions of Windows 10 it became much more useful.
Apparently, this is only one step on the way to full deliverance from the “control Panel” to “Settings”. However, in the big spring update 2021 “control Panel” would still be part of Windows 10.
