Which processor has received the Galaxy Fold? Geekbench has determined that the Samsung Galaxy Fold installed 8-core processor from Qualcomm. However, the company Samsung was talking about using 7-nanometer platform. That description fits only one chip – the Snapdragon 855. The test also confirmed the already known information about 12 GB of RAM.

In the single core test Galaxy scored 3418 Fold points, and in multi-core 9703 points. These figures are somewhat lower than other smartphones based on the Snapdragon 855, which may be associated with the launch of the benchmark on a pre-sale sample.
Release date and price. The Galaxy Fold is scheduled for April 26. The price of the first flexible smartphone is 1 980 dollars (about 54 000 UAH).
