Invitation HMD Global at MWC teases the Nokia 9 PureView and a mysterious phone with a perforated display.
Global HMD started teasing its Nokia 9 PureView, as well as an unknown smartphone with a screen with hole in China. The teaser appeared on Baidu (via Pure Android), and they claim that the new phones will be officially unveiled at MWC 2019 February 24 in Barcelona, Spain.
Director of Global product HMD Juho Services has announced on Twitter the launch date of 24 January, but he has not confirmed finally what products we will see at the event. According to the circulating rumors, the new products of the Finnish company officially become Nokia 9 PureView, which has five cameras on the rear, and Nokia 6.2, which will be equipped with a perforated screen.
It is expected that the smartphone Nokia 9 PureView will be equipped with five-chamber module, Zeiss-certified. The phone may have a Snapdragon 845 in combination with a RAM of 6 GB and the internal memory of 128 GB. It is also believed that Nokia 9 will be installed fingerprint scanner 5.99-inch QHD+ screen.
The second phone is called the Nokia 6.2. Most likely, it will be the first ever phone with a perforation, and the teaser gives it weight. According to rumors, Nokia will be equipped with 6.2 a 6.2-inch display. The phone may have the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 632 and memory 4 GB / 6 GB.
In addition to these two phones, the recent leaks from Tiger Mobiles also suggests that the Global HMD can also show the entry-level smartphone with 1GB of RAM, called Nokia 1 Plus. The leaked specs suggests that the phone will be the successor to the original smartphone Nokia 1 Android Go.
MWC kicks off in Barcelona on February 25 and will run until February 28.
