Klitschko asks to introduce tax holidays for business for two months.
Kyiv city state administration prepares a draft temporary exemption from taxes and duties of entrepreneurs and enterprises under quarantine to prevent the spread of the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2.
This was announced by the mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko in the video.
“We are already preparing a draft decision of city Council on possible arrangements for the temporary release of the entrepreneurs and enterprises operating in the capital, from the payment of local taxes and fees. We are talking about land tax, real estate tax and rental property,” he said.
Klitschko also addressed the Parliament regarding the necessity of the adoption of the decision on the exemption from the single social contribution. In particular, the capability to provide additional leave to staff and to carry out the calculation and payment of salaries to employees who are involuntarily not working.
The mayor also requests the government and the IRS to consider the initiative of introducing tax holidays for business for two months.
