A former prisoner of the Kremlin activist Alexander Kolchenko believes that the police, who arrested him near the Embassy of Belarus in Kiev, the judge who sentenced him, his actions, expressed solidarity with their colleagues from Belarus. About this time of year, wrote in Facebook on August 12.

The incident at the Embassy Kolchenko called police arbitrariness and punched a bottom in a list of many previous.
“Certainly, the situation with freedom of speech and peaceful Assembly, we are much better than their neighbors to the East and North. During the scuffle at the protest near the Belarusian Embassy in Kyiv on 10 August detained a former prisoner of Crimea Oleksandr Kolchenko and several of the participants.
The Shevchenkovsky district court of Kiev recognized Kolchenko guilty to disorderly conduct and assigned 40 hours of community service for participating in riots near the Embassy of Belarus.
