The court in Krivoi Rog passed the decision on arrest of krivorozhane suspected of intentional homicide of 65-year-old fisherman.
As the press service of the regional court of Ingulets Krivoy Rog, the corresponding resolution, the investigating judge issued on August 15.
43-year-old man is suspected of committing a criminal offense under part 1 of article 115 of the criminal code on the grounds of premeditated murder.
As we wrote earlier, on 13 August while fishing on the banks of the river Ingulets district of the city, 65-year-old victim had consumed alcohol with their friends. During drinking of alcohol between men there was a quarrel which escalated into a fight. The attacker struck the victim with punches and kicks to the head and body. From the received traumas the man died on the spot. To conceal the crime, the attacker threw the dead body into the river Ingulets, and then fled the scene.
In the materials the petition States that on the body there are injuries in the form of multiple fractures of the ribs and closed cherepno-a brain trauma.
The result of the submitted request on the application to the suspect the measure of restraint in form of detention. The Prosecutor supported the petition, and asked to choose citizen V. the measure of restraint in form of detention for a period of 60 days. The suspect at the hearing did not object to the use against him of such measure of restraint as his protector.
Given that krivorozhane is suspected of committing especially grave crimes for which the law provides punishment in the form of imprisonment from 7 to 15 years, and also the existence of risk (the suspect may travel outside of the city of Krivoy Rog due to the fact that nowhere not officially employed, permanent source of income has, leads an asocial life, abusing alcohol, single, no children, he speaks to the lack of strong social ties), the investigating judge came to the conclusion about the necessity of election against him preventive measure in form of detention for a period of 60 days to October 12, 2019, without defining the amount of collateral.
