“The company “Kyivstar” understands that eSIM is the evolution of technology, which could become a replacement for of ordinary SIM, which in turn is of benefit to manufacturers, users and operators”, – reported in a press-service of the company in response to the request UBR.ua.
The company noted that the new technology is in the final stage of testing services.
Monday, July 27, on the support of the virtual “simok” said the second-largest operator, Vodafone Ukraine. According to the company, in the first half of 2020, the penetration of smartphones with support for eSIM in its network has increased by 60%.
