Brand Marshall has presented the smart column Uxbridge Voice Speaker made in the original vintage design. In addition to small size, the list of special features included wide frequency range, possibility of operation in the wireless stereos and voice control with a virtual assistant.
Compact speaker system with dimensions 127 x 152 x 101 mm and a frequency range of 54 – 20,000 Hz has got built-in amplifier power 30 watts. Maximum sound pressure level of the speaker is 96 dB. For wireless connectivity answer modules Wi-Fi 801.11 ac (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0. Support AirPlay Protocol 2 allows the column to pair with the AppleTV devices as wireless speakers.
On top of the housing controls the volume, treble and bass, as well as the hardware button and microphone for interacting with the voice assistant Amazon Alexa. Column also supports pairing with speakers Amazon Echo in the multiroom system compatible with Spotify Connect technology.
Marshall Uxbridge Voice in the black and white buildings will go on sale April 8 for $199. Version-enabled virtual assistant Google debuts at retail on June 11 of this year.
