On Saturday, December 8, low snow avalanche danger remains in the highlands of Ivano-Frankivsk region, and 8-9 December in the highlands of the Eastern part of Transcarpathia.
About it reports a press-service of the State service for emergency situations.
MoE added that also on December 9-10 in the highlands of Ivano-Frankivsk region is expected to be moderate snow avalanche danger (level 2).
In addition, rescuers warn of unstable ice on rivers and lakes. Such ice is formed due to the constantly changing air temperature, and is especially dangerous for all visitors to the ponds.
To prevent accidents, officers began to conduct preventive raids the frozen rivers and lakes.
In particular, during the raids rescuers inform fishermen about safety rules during your stay on the ice, handing out leaflets with them in the prescribed safety rules on the ice.
The rescuers warn:
- before you step on the ice, you need to know about its thickness;
- it is strictly forbidden to test the strength of the ice kicks;
- you should pay attention to the surface of the ice, around the places and areas covered with a thick layer of snow;
- special caution should be exercised in the streams, creeks and warm sewage of the industrial enterprises, bushes and grass.
Rescuers call not to go unreliable the ice and deny doing it to their children.
