Priests who went to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, receive threatening texts from a Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine, Metropolitan of Ovruch and Korosten Vissarion, said the press service of the Zhytomyr diocese of the PCU.

“The priests who went to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, is under pressure Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine, Metropolitan of Ovruch and Korostenski Vissarion. He distributes to the clergy of SMS-messages with threats and calls to repentance,” said the diocese.
Also, the PCU noted that the Metropolitan Vissarion warns priests that in communities that switched from him will come the Russian priests and people who “can help to repent.”
In addition, Ovruch diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church campaigning on the wards and distributing provocative leaflets contents about the repentance of all who went in ptsu.
It is known that SMS messages from the Metropolitan Vissarion received by the priests from the towns of Granite, sat Makeevka and Fedorovka.
