The same message was added to the health dashboard Windows 10 2004, to allow users to keep track of known issues affecting the may update 2020. At the moment, according to information sheet life cycle of a Windows device running Windows 10 version 1903 (EOS comes 8 Dec) and Windows 10 versions of 1809 (EOS November 10 has been postponed from 12 may) will be the first that should be automatically updated.

A year ago Microsoft were preparing for an unattended installation of Windows 10 version 1903 on devices running Windows 10 version 1803 and earlier, using the same deployment process based on ML.

Earlier this month, Microsoft has also started to notify users via Windows update, if their device is blocked from updating due to compatibility issues.
