Microsoft today presented on display another view on how would look redesigned “start menu” in Windows 10 – and this seems to be a big step forward. In the company work hard to make the new menu combined with other aesthetic changes that the developers made the operating system almost five years since the launch of Windows 10.
So far, the progress of the designers of Microsoft is that “live tiles” Live Tiles (apart from the fact that they did not disappear) will make the background corresponding to the choice of light or dark theme. If these GUI elements will be disabled by the user, you will now see the new icons “soft starter design” (“Fluent Design”) with a translucent background, is pretty sharp colored rectangles.
The result is a pretty nice view of the start menu, which in General does not look so pretentious in comparison with the overall design of the desktop OS. The form of the recently launched programs that appear on the left side of the start menu has also been changed – they have lost a colored background.
New menu “start” is certainly an improvement, says Microsoft account 365 on Facebook. However, information about when the innovation will be added in Windows 10 has not yet been reported. Microsoft is working hard on this and apparently wants to make things right. The last time Microsoft radically changed the start menu was in Windows 8 with its start screen “metro”, which, to put it mildly, was unpopular.
