In early January, AMD demonstrated the capabilities of the third generation of mobile processors Ryzen. In early tests, the family Ryzen 4000 showed a significant performance, which sometimes even exceeded the results of the desktop models. Now users were able to test the flagship – Ryzen 9 4900HS, which showed impressive power.

Details of the test

As opponents of the test, the authors chose models of processors:

  • Ryzen 7 3700X with eight cores and 16 threads
  • Ryzen 9 3950X, equipped with 16 cores and 32 threads.

Results

The results of testing on the platform UserBenchmark Ryzen 9 4900HS managed to score 1 081 ball in 8-core mode, which exceeds desktop Ryzen 9 3950X with 16 physical cores, according to NotebookCheck.

The test results of AMD Ryzen 9 4900HS

The result Ryzen 9 3950X slightly, but still inferior to mobile chip 1 053 in 8-core mode.
