From 26 may to 9 June at Roland Garros – the open championship of France on tennis. In 2019, the tournament participants will compete 42,661 million euros in prize money, which was 8% more than last year.
Each participant of the training depending on your results at the tournament will receive from 7 to 24 thousand euros. Getting into the main draw of Roland Garros guarantees players 46 thousand euros. 15% more than in 2018.
For an exit in the second round of the tournament the players will receive 87 million euros, for a place in the third round – 143 thousand euros. For 243 thousand euros will be awarded to those who progress to the third round of the tournament.
The participants in the quarterfinals of Roland Garros earn for 415 thousand euros. For the semi-finals – another 590 thousand euros. The finalists will receive 1.18 million euros. The winner of the tournament will be enriched by 2.3 million euros.
In 2018 Roland Garros was won by Simona Halep and Rafael Nadal. The best result of the Ukrainian women then showed Lesia Tsurenko, which reached the 1/8 finals. Elina Svitolina left in the third round of the competition. Kateryna Kozlova overcame the first round of the tournament. Kateryna Bondarenko lost at the start. Angelina Kalinina and Martha Kostiuk failed to qualify for the tournament through qualification.
