After the thermal test the heat shield will be painted and covered with a protective film to protect it in orbit. Only after that the heat shield will be attached to the “Orion” which is expected later this year.

Thus we can say that despite some delays in the preparation plans for the Artemis missions due to pandemic coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 in General, the process goes on. In the near future, humanity will return to the moon.
