The former head of the State fiscal service of Ukraine Roman Nasirov may 17 filed in the Shevchenkovsky regional court of Kiev a request for transfer of his case to the Higher anti-corruption court of Ukraine. He reported about it in Facebook.

He declared that considers itself innocent and intends to prove it in court. Nasirov said that the motion would be considered at the next hearing.

According to Facebook, the press service of the Specialized anti-corruption Prosecutor’s office, at a meeting of Shevchenkovsky regional court in the case Nasirov 17 may read only eight pages of the indictment. The next meeting is scheduled for June 26.

National anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine suspects Nasirov abuse of power and official position, which resulted in damage amounting to about 2 billion UAH. According to investigators, at the head of the SFS, he took decisions in the interests of the fugitive faction Deputy Oleksandr Onyshchenko, in respect of which the investigation proceedings on suspicion in frauds with gas.

The evening of 2 March 2017 Nasirova was arrested at the hospital “Feofania” in Kiev. March 7, Solomenskiy district court chose the measure of restraint in form of detention with possibility of bail of 100 million UAH. 16 Mar Nasirov was released after his wife made for him the required security.

In September 2018 the court allowed Nasirova to remove an electronic bracelet, in January 2019 to travel outside the Kiev region, and in March – reduced the amount of bail to 36 million.
