Funds will be used for rehabilitation of wounded Ukrainian military
The member countries of NATO have been increasing their own contributions to the several trust funds (TF) to support Ukraine. As informs RBC-Ukraine, this was stated by Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine Ivanna klympush-Tsintsadze, reports “Government portal”.
In particular, on Wednesday, April 24, the Deputy Prime Minister met with the project Manager of the NATO trust Fund Frederic Peugeot. Discussed TF on disarmament, disposal of radioactive waste and medical rehabilitation of servicemen wounded in ATO on.
“NATO will continue to support Ukraine on its path to Euro-Atlantic integration, increasing the financial contributions to the trust funds,” said Peugeot.
He added that it will be extended until 2021 the work of the trust Fund on medical rehabilitation for servicemen. Funds will also be allocated for the implementation of projects.
One of these will transfer from the Agency, the NATO support and procurement (NSPA), special bus to the rehabilitation center for soldiers at the sports and training base of the Ministry of defense “Tisovec”. The bus is equipped for comfortable transportation of wounded soldiers. Will also be sent medical equipment to a military hospital in Irpin.
