The explosion of the car Mitsubishi Pajero in the village of Prince’s Bridge in the Lviv region killed 41-year-old Lviv businessman Taras Iwanicka. It is reported ZAXID.NET.
The deceased owned a number of companies that are engaged in building (“SWAT-Plus”), the extraction of sand and gravel in the Ternopil region (“Navigator LTD”), car repairs (“GA-at”), as well as a nightclub “the Yucatan” in Pustomyty. In 2006, he was a defendant in the case of unauthorized occupation of land near cafe bar “Cobra” in the Town.
According to sources, Iwanicka was associated with gambling in Lviv and one of local criminal authorities.
The police believe that the key version of the murder are the dismantling of criminal groups.
Recall that the Mitsubishi Pajero blew up at about 06:00 on private land near the base of rest in the village of Prince’s Bridge mostys’kyi district. The device exploded in the moment when 41-year-old Taras Iwanicka sat in the car.
On the scene arrived several dozen police officers with bomb experts and cynologists. Law enforcement agencies have intensified patrolling of the route Lviv-shehyni, patrols, stop cars and check the documents of drivers.
