In particular, the company has shown work in various graphic editors and even running the game Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Now more is known about the integrated graphics in the new chips.

What technology does Apple
Special attention was paid to deferred tile rendering Tile Based Deferred Rendering (TBDR). Technology allows you to capture the whole scene before rendering and to divide it into several small fragments, each of which is processed separately. As a result, rendering is fast and does not require a large memory bandwidth.
ARM processors Apple promise a good graphics capabilities
On the other hand, graphics processors Intel, NVIDIA and AMD rely on radically different method of rendering – Immediate Mode Rendering (IMR). Its essence is in the processing of the entire scene as a whole. This technology is much less efficient compared to the TBDR and requires a lot of bandwidth.
“Do not think that a discrete graphics processor means better performance,” said Apple.
Chosen by Apple in favor of TBDR obvious, because this method performs processing of the frame is noticeably faster and with less power. However, to draw any conclusions will be possible only after the appearance of Macs based on ARM processors. The first such computer will be released this year.
