Volvo dealers have started taking orders for the new V60 Cross Country in Russia. The novelty is available only in one equipment Plus with no alternative petrol engine.
New wagon Volvo V60 Cross Country with a ground clearance of 210 mm entered the Russian market with a 2.0-liter 250-horsepower turbo engine under the hood. The car is built on a scalable architecture SPA that has already been used on the machines of the 60 – and 90-series.
New with a price tag of 3 069 000 rubles boasts of having all-wheel drive and a choice of different modes including off-road Off-Road. The list of equipment is very rich.
It included the collision avoidance with recognition of cars, bikes, pedestrians and large animals, the function of automatic braking, sound system, Bowers & Wilkins, the autopilot Pilot Assist operating at speeds up to 130 km/h, panoramic roof and much more.
To compete in the Volvo V60 Cross Country will have with the German Volkswagen Passat Alltrack and Audi A4 Allroad. Note that in other markets the Swedish wagon will be sold with a 190-strong “diesel”.
Later the model will get a hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions, but they are unlikely to get to Russia.
