koda introduced a petrol and diesel version of the “charged” Octavia new generation.
The new Škoda Octavia RS iV with a hybrid power plant debuted four months ago and became the first “hot” model of the brand with a hybrid power plant. Now presented modifications with traditional petrol and diesel motors in the body liftbek and wagon.
Diesel Škoda Octavia RS is equipped with a 2.0 TDI engine that develops 200 HP and 400 Nm of torque, and uncontested 7-step “robot” DSG. Standard front-wheel drive surcharge will replace full with a Haldex clutch on the rear axle. Acceleration time to 100 km/h, front-wheel drive Octavia RS – 7.4, four-wheel drive for 6.8 C. Maximum speed – 243 and 249 km/h respectively.
Petrol modification has turbochetverku 2.0 TSI, outstanding 245 HP and 370 Nm of torque. This allowed gasoline “erase” to match the power with a hybrid modification, but the difference in traction was 30 Nm in favor of a hybrid. A couple in a petrol engine has a 6-speed “mechanics” or 7-speed “robot” DSG. Drive – only the front. To 100 km/h version with “mechanics” accelerates for 6.8 s, robotic for 6.7 s. the Maximum in both cases speed is 250 km/h.
Also “charged” Octavia got retuned suspension lowered by 15 mm suspension, steering mechanism with variable gear ratios, more powerful brakes, 18 – or 19-inch wheels and optional adaptive dampers DCC.
Visually “lighter” are different from the normal Octavia is more aggressive bumpers, original led foglights, black decor, and in the case of the liftback and another spoiler on the boot door. In salon of differences – sports steering wheel, seats with side support, a top version of the original multimedia system, virtual instrument panel, center airbag and trim carbon fiber and Alcantara.
Serial production of the Škoda Octavia RS iV a new generation will be launched in September this year. Date of start of sales is not yet known.
