Manual Nissan considers the possibility of leaving the Alliance Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi.
Nissan refuted yesterday media reports that the company’s management develops a plan of withdrawal from the Alliance with Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi. In an official statement the company said that Nissan does not consider the dissolution of the Alliance, and reports in the press called speculative. The Alliance Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi is called the source of the competitiveness of Nissan, which will allow us to achieve sustainable and profitable growth of the company.
In March last year, the day of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of an Alliance of Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi has announced the creation of a new body – the governing Board (operating board), which will monitor all the activities of the Alliance. In its structure included the Director General of Hiroto Saikawa Nissan, Mitsubishi Osamu Masuko and Renault Thierry Bollore. The duties of the President of the Council entrusted to the new head of the Board of Directors of Renault by Jean-Dominique Senara.
In November last year, all the members of the Council agreed on a program to significantly increase and accelerate the operational efficiency of the Alliance in the interests of the member companies, including plans of action to maximize the contribution of the Alliance in the strategic plans of each company and operating profit.
