Many of us appreciate positive experiences more than negative ones. However, some are not even aware of the beneficial effects last: challenging negative situations make life worth living much more than positive.
Professor, University of Minnesota Kathleen Vos and her colleagues found that happiness and meaningfulness often attributed to the positive side of life. The researchers, however, concluded that negative life experience is meaningful, no less, and even to a greater extent than positive. A study published in the journal Current Opinion in Psychology.
