The Cabinet of Ministers adopted decision to ensure compliance with obligations under the framework agreement concerning grants between Ukraine and the International Bank for reconstruction and development (IBRD).
The decision was made at the government meeting on 8 July, according to UKRINFORM.
“This Protocol instruction is offered to the Minister of economic development, trade and agriculture of Ukraine as the representative of the recipient to continue to fulfil obligations under the framework agreement concerning grants between Ukraine and the International Bank for reconstruction and development,” said Cabinet Minister Oleg Nemchinov.
He added that we are talking about grants on strengthening the management of public resources, the provision of social services to communities, development of strategic approaches to developing skills in the context of the armed conflict in Ukraine, overcoming the consequences of the conflict, as well as the project to support the process of ensuring the implementation of the initiative extractive industries transparency.
Nemchinov said that Ukraine continues the reform of public administration, recently announced the allocation of Ukraine the equivalent of almost 350 million UAH to support the reform of public administration.
As reported, on 7 July, Ukraine has received from the European Union 11.5 million Euro programme of budget support of Ukrainian public administration in crisis COVID-19.
