Two and a half hours of exercise a week reduces the probability to almost half of the cancers.

As reported by Naked Science, the study of 750,000 participants have shown the relationship of physical activity with reduced risk of several types of cancer.

It is reported that today the recommended level of physical activity for the average person – from two and a half to five hours a week of moderate intensity exercise or an hour and a quarter to two and a half high physical loads.

Moderate exertion includes such as brisk walking, dancing, gardening or housework, games and activities with children and Pets. High-intensity – running, climbing, fast Cycling, energetic swimming, sports games, etc.

In their analysis the researchers found that if you follow the simple guidelines for the level of moderately-intense physical activity, the risk of developing seven of the fifteen types of cancer are statistically reduced.

During the research it became known that physical activity is associated with a lower risk of developing colon cancer in men (8% for 7.5 hours per week; 14% for 15 hours per week), breast cancer in women (6-10%), endometrial cancer (10% – 18%), kidney cancer (11-17%), myeloma (14-19%), liver cancer (18-27%) and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (11-18% in women).

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, in 2020, the early diagnosis of cancer in Ukraine will be free, as the national health service of Ukraine will pay for the procedure hospitals.
