Passenger aircraft Fokker 100 airline Bek Air on 27 December at 07:22 during takeoff from Almaty airport lost altitude, struck a concrete fence and collided with a 2-story building, said the civil aviation Committee of Kazakhstan.
On Board were 95 passengers and 5 crew members. At the moment there are about 12 victims. According to the airline, in the hospital brought 29 people.
The collision of the plane broke into several parts. The aircraft had the registration number UP-F1007 and performed Z2100 domestic flight from Astana to Nur-Sultan.
According the civil aviation Committee of Kazakhstan, the aircraft was released in April, 1996 and registered in Kazakhstan the registry on 26 August 2016.
The Park consists of Bek Air Fokker 100 10, nine of whom had a valid certificate of airworthiness.
“Currently, the air operator certificates and airworthiness of the airline Bek Air suspended by the Aviation administration of Kazakhstan,” added the civil aviation Committee of Kazakhstan.
On the website of the airline pointed out that it is Kazakhstan’s first low-cost airline and operates internal scheduled air services to/from the cities of Astana and Almaty to Atyrau, Aktau, Aktobe, Uralsk, Kostanay, Pavlodar, Karaganda, Shymkent, Kyzylorda, Zhezkazgan and between them, and in the cities of Moscow and Saint Petersburg from the city of oral and Charter flights to many countries of the CIS, as well as UAE, Turkey, Mongolia and China.
