Harmonization of MHE international will simplify and speed up customs procedures, according to the Finance Ministry.
The Verkhovna Rada approved the introduction of a new customs tariff in Ukraine. Respective draft law №3238 adopted at the meeting of Parliament on June 4, reported the Ministry of Finance.
The new tariff will change the classification, description, additional units of measurement and accounting of certain goods – they are consistent with international customs classification.
Allow its classification of foreign economic activities and products in accordance with international Ukraine is committed under the world trade organization.
“Harmonization of the legislation allow matching of customs statistics of Ukraine and the countries-trading partners, standardization of external trade documents”, – explained in the Ministry of Finance.
In addition, the discrepancies in commodity codes of the exporting country and Ukraine will contribute to the simplification and acceleration of customs procedures for customs clearance during import.
However, the Finance Ministry stressed that the rates of import duties in new customs tariff will remain the same.
