The draft of the PACE resolution calls for Russia to get back the fragments of the vessel without unnecessary delay

At the meeting of the parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) in October will consider the draft resolution, which Russia will be encouraged to return the wreckage of the former President of Poland Lech Kaczynski. “This is a very important event from the political and legal points of view. For the first time an international body, I hope, will urge Russia to return the aircraft,” – said the mulyarchick.

The draft resolution stresses that any country in the territory where the crash occurred, in accordance with Annex 13 to the Chicago Convention, should return the wreckage of the crashed plane and all material assets after completion of the investigation the country that owned the crashed plane. “The continuing refusal to return the wreckage and other materials is a violation of the law by the Russian authorities, which increases from the Polish side of speculation that Russia might have something to hide,” reads the draft resolution.
