The police Kiev region are investigating two criminal proceedings in connection with the fires that led to the fires in the exclusion zone of the Chernobyl NPP, one pyro set, reported in a press-service of allpolicies.
“As for information about fires in the Chernobyl zone. It is established that one of the fires spread from the Zhytomyr region by the wind on the territory of Kyiv region. On this fact openly criminal proceedings under 270 of the criminal code (violation of established by legislation requirements of fire security),” – said the press service on Monday.
According to the Central Board, the police Kiev region will conduct investigations on the territory of the region, interviewing foresters and all the people who could be witnesses to the fire and extinguish the fire, after which criminal proceedings will be reported to the police in the Zhytomyr region for further investigation, since there was the fire.
“Another case is the fire grass flooring in Ivankov district. Then the fire spread further, into the territory of Kotovsk forest area which is already in the exclusion zone. There were destroyed 5 hectares of dry grass”, – told in the state of the Channel region.
In a Central Board emphasized that in this case, a man who set fire to the dry grass. “It is established that ignited dry grass in three places 27-year-old resident of Ivankiv district. He was taken to the police, he was interviewed and released. Yet the suspicion he is not charged, his procedural status of a witness”, – explained in allpolicies.
“And on this fact openly criminal proceedings under article 245 of the criminal code (destruction or damage of plants),” – said in the Chapter.
