So, as of 15:00 on 21 July police received 1,225 complaints and reports related to the elections (mostly in the Donetsk region – 128, Dnipropetrovsk – 108, Zaporizhia – 64).
Mostly these facts are related to: illegal campaigning – 214 statements and messages, preventing to electoral right implementation – 35, issue – 20, the bribing of voters – 20, damage to property – 11, reports of mining – 4.
“During the day police made 24 administrative report, 21 the fact data are brought in the Unified register of pre-judicial investigations”, – said the interior Ministry.
The Ministry assured that in General the situation is calm and is under the full control of law enforcement.
As noted by the Deputy Chairman of the National police – the chief of GUNP in Kiev, Andriy kryschenko, the situation in the capital remains under control.
“The police of Kiev was 84 violations of election legislation. 5 messages is composed of a Protocol and are 2 criminal proceedings. On these facts investigative actions, violators reported suspicion on the relevant articles”, – said Krishchenko.
He said that one concern of impeding the exercise of electoral rights (in the Svyatoshinsky district of the electorate urged not to vote for one particular candidate and support another). The second criminal proceedings opened in connection with the attempts to make blank ballots from the site in Solomenskiy area.
In this regard, Krishchenko warned that the removal of the ballots can be regarded as the beginning of a scheme of “Roundabout”.
