The fifth President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko may 30, reported in Facebook that he gave the volunteers “Turn alive” and public organization “Help the front” 1,752 million UAH of compensation received from British Corporation BBC.
“Organization “Help the front” and the Fund “Turn alive” long help of the army and gained the trust of the society. I also trust. 1 million 752 thousand UAH of compensation for the court case against BBC Bogdan Maslyak and Vitaly Deynega spend on military aid and support of veterans”, – wrote Poroshenko.
The money will be divided equally between the two structures, according to the website, “Turn alive”. The Fund plans to spend 875 thousand UAH for the organization of the selection in the Ukrainian team at the Invictus Games, which will be held in the Hague in 2020.
In Facebook organization “Help the front” said that the donation from the ex-President will focus on the needs of the Ukrainian intelligence, but also on creation of educational-technical base for the marine corps.
