The development of a United territorial communities (GRT) in Ukraine should be to ensure high standards of quality of life for residents. This opinion was expressed by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on March 2 at a meeting of the Council for regional development in Odessa region, reports the official website of the President.
“It is my deep conviction in each of the United territorial community should be roads, quality roads,” – said Poroshenko.
The President added that it is also necessary to provide on the ground quality water supply.
“According to European standards, where the population of over three thousand inhabitants must have Central water supply. And it is our duty, it’s our standard,” he said.
According to Poroshenko, communities also need to ensure quality power supply.
“School under the new standards, as infrastructural and conceptual school must be new. And we started to work on this project… we already Have more than 500 schools in General relativity that meet the standards of the new Ukrainian schools,” he said.
The President also stressed the importance of providing quality health services in the framework of the reform of rural medicine, as well as widespread access to the Internet.
“We started a new program “Where light’s the Internet”. Why? Because every family should be the Internet. Should not be the village, where there is no Internet. Because this is an opportunity for intellectual development, for the acquisition of new knowledge. This qualification is the 21st century,” he concluded.
United territorial communities created in the framework of decentralization in all regions of Ukraine in 2015. There are more than 830 GRT.
