Potato is one of the most favorite products in Ukraine, as it is inexpensive, and it is possible to prepare a variety of dishes. Potatoes can be a side dish to meat or fish, and quite a separate dish. And the options of cooking potatoes there are so many, so with this product in the diet definitely will manage to avoid monotony.
Many people love fried potatoes with a crust, but this dish is quite high in calories. Therefore, we propose to “adopt” a recipe for baked potatoes that will be equally tasty but much more useful.
Oven baked potato will not only be the perfect side dish to any main meal and a snack. Potato wedges are usually served with various sauces, and meats fresh vegetables.
How to cook baked potatoes
You will need 1 kg of selected potatoes, which will need to be cleaned and cut into similar small pieces. In a separate bowl connect a little coarse sea salt, a teaspoon of lemon peel, a pinch of oregano or other spices to taste 30 ml lemon juice, 30 milliliters of olive oil and 3 tablespoons of Dijon mustard. All this need to be mixed thoroughly, and then to shift the sliced potatoes in this mixture so that each piece of potato was soaked in marinade.
Put the marinated potatoes on the tray, on top of the slices spread with finely chopped two cloves of garlic 30 grams of butter. Preheat oven to 200 degrees and bake the potatoes for exactly 20 minutes.
