An independent team GameTomo announced the development of a fairly nice adventure game for Steam and Sumire Switch during the Japanese Indie festival Live Expo 2020. Sumire is a narrative game, all the events that occur in one day in a mystical village in the Japanese style.
The head of the heroine Sumire given a list of tasks that must perform a mischievous mountain spirit, and we need to fix this before nightfall. In Japanese the game is called Sumire no Sora (“Sky Sumire”), but the genre is correctly referred to as ADV. This is the story, rich text, games, in which the user controls the actions of a character either directly or via text elections. In the West, it would call a visual novel.
Sumire is an independent project, which does not yet have an exact release date. The developers promise to publish news about the project via the Steam page and Twitter GameTomo. Unfortunately, yet claimed only English and Japanese localization.
Here are some additional details from the press release that awaits players:
a variety of bright and beautiful surroundings, designed in the picturesque style;
collectible and bonus items, and tests skills and other tests – some hidden, some not;
a series of large and small tasks that the heroine receives from the charming woodland creatures, quirky townspeople and the plot; they can take on or give up, but be careful: in descending order of time a new chance may be gone;
one day, over which the sky changes from dawn to soft twilight, and ends when the sky becomes purple.
In the past GameTomo with GameCrafterTeam has developed a pretty nice mecha game Project Nimbus. During Live Indie Expo 2020 was published the new trailer of under the name Nimbus Infinity.
