The police received statements from eight presidential candidates with a request to provide security.
“We are working to ensure the protection of candidates for the post of President of Ukraine. Now with such a request addressed to the national police 8 of the candidates,” – said the head of the MIA of Ukraine Arsen Avakov.
Thus Avakov added that to ensure effective response to violations of the election the police are carefully preparing all personnel.
“We study the law, now there are such exercises in relation to the electoral process. Provide maximum assistance to official observers. Will also be arranged in places of temporary stay and residence”, – said the Minister.
As of this time, the militiamen received 1 477 allegations of violations during the election campaign.
