State institution “PrivatBank” replied the Ukrainians to complaints about sudden loss of funds
The Bank’s customers faced with the unpleasant phenomenon. After payment of the goods the money is mysteriously withdrawn from the account. This cardholder wrote the reviews on the website of the Ministry of Finance.
So Anatoly Jerebko lost personal funds when paying for the services of “New mail”. The post office terminal checks issued on the “unsuccessful operation”. The money disappeared from the account of the client, but never came to the “New mail”.
Then Anatoly made contact with the operator and left a request on the return of funds. When dealing with Bank employees, he concluded that the probability to return the money is very small. According to his words, in “PrivatBank” operation failed not to recognize his mistake. Therefore, the Ukrainian is afraid to pay off the card in the future.
In addition, the client was outraged by the deadline of the application. The operator said that employees of the Bank will try to recover the funds within 45-120 days. According to Anatoly, the period of four months is very large for such an operation.
Soon representatives of the Bank answered the complaint of user:
“We are sorry that You faced such an unpleasant situation. I want to tell You that now this amount is reserved on your card. If not received the request from a Trading point for 11 days from the date of the transaction, the funds will return to the map. In case funds will be debited, we’ll send a request to the international payment system to challenge the situation. But I want to draw Your attention that this issue can be seen clearly regulated by rules of payment systems, so it can take from 45 to 120 days.”
Slightly different thing happened with Valeria Novikova February 11. The girl shared that made a purchase at popular online perfume store. The payment is successfully passed, as “PrivatBank” reported in the SMS message. But soon the client was accidentally discovered repeated withdrawals of the same amount. It so happened that the Ukrainian has lost two times more money than I should have.
Surprised the girl hurried to go to online support “Private Bank”. It said, money wrongly debited and the funds returned within 5-7 days. Moreover, Valery was asked to wait until at least one of the two payments. The next day, the store got their money, confirmed the purchase and sent the order. Then she could apply for a refund.
“It took another 3 days, I again appeal to the Bank to learn as is the case on request. I was told to wait 5-7 days, 40-120 days!!! Privat Bank, just removed from my card money, without any agreement, consent, notification, and now they want to give. I trusted this Bank, invest, pay a fee, and I take my personal funds and still fed with promises, each time mentioning a different version and time” – complained Valery Novikov on the website of the Ministry of Finance. She noted that the Bank was unable to provide the guarantee of a successful return of the money.
In this case, “PrivatBank” explained the situation similarly:
“Let You explain that at the moment the funds reserved on Your card and, if they are not requested point, within 11 days from the date of the transaction, the funds will be returned to Your card. In case, if the funds will be debited from the card, we will submit the request to the international payment system to challenge the operation. However, I want to draw attention to the fact that the consideration of such cases is strictly regulated by rules of payment systems and can take from 45 to 120 days.” The Bank also reminded about the deadlines.
