The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Yuri Hotsanic commented on the problem of extraction of marine sand in the area of the bakalskaya spit. This was reported by the press service of the President of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
– Problems of extraction of marine sand on the North-West Crimea in the area of bakalskaya spit needs to be solved in the near future, – said Yuri Hotsanic. – These are the questions we repeatedly discussed at meetings of the Government of the Republic of Crimea, including there have been appeals to the Supervisory authorities for the purpose of cancellation of the license leading to the extraction of sand from the bottom of the Black sea.
According to him, on behalf of the Head of the Republic of Crimea held talks with the leadership of the Ministry of natural resources and ecology of the Russian Federation.
Until Federal authorities informed about damage to the ecology in the region. Soon work will be stopped, – said Yuri Hotsanic.
He also noted that the Council of Ministers of the Republic prepared a proposal on amendments to the law “On subsoil”, which allows to expand the powers of subjects of Federation in the sphere of subsoil use.
– We do everything to preserve the natural resources of our Peninsula, – said the Chairman of the government of Kazakhstan.
