To buy three toothpastes for the price of two, to participate in the drawing of the TV or to get a coupon code – what could be better? Promotions have become a powerful marketing tool. Ukrainians also actively use various promotions to buy products at the best prices. The website “Today” tells you which promotions are interested in the Ukrainians, what they buy and how does the profile of the typical participant in such events.
Profile of the typical participant promotions
Recently, the mobile marketing Agency “Lead9” conducted a study of participants of promo-actions in Ukraine. Was analyzed about 3 million participants, and the sampling began the promotional campaign for the segment of FMCG (FMCG). A mandatory condition to participate in such promotional campaigns have been the product purchase and registration of a buyer via SMS or the website.
According to the study, participation in promotions more interested in women than men – 59% to 41%. Of those women who are interested in stocks, 81% have a higher education and are married 74%.
With regard to age, the most active age groups were people aged 25 to 34 years, they leave 47% of all participants.
Main areas of interest are: electronics, communication, entertainment and home goods.
