Russia has assumed full responsibility, has confirmed its participation in the occupation of the territory of Donbass and took part in organizing the illegal elections. They are under the muzzles of Russian machines in the occupied territory.

This was stated by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, reports a press-service of the head of state.

The President noted that in connection with the Pro-Russian rebels the pseudo-Ukraine “in the next few hours waiting for the meeting of the Great seven countries and the reaction of the EU partners, partners from the United States of America, Canada and around the world.”

“As a result of the consultation we are confident that these elections will not be recognized by anyone. They do not fall under the standards of the Ukrainian legislation, are conducted under the muzzles of Russian machines in the occupied territory. They are totally unacceptable. Security conditions are not established,” – said the President.

He also noted that tomorrow (11 November – 24 channel) will be initiated by several events.

First of all, we are holding on Monday in Vienna meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council where this issue will be included in the agenda. We began consultations in the UN Security Council in new York with the permanent members of the Security Council,
– said Poroshenko.

In addition, according to the head of the state, the question of illegality, the so-called elections should contribute to the agenda of the meeting of the EU Council of Ministers for foreign Affairs.

We will remind, after murder of the leader of Pro-Russian militants Alexander Zakharchenko in the occupied territories of Donetsk and Lugansk region declared intention November 11 to hold “elections” the new leaders of Pro-Russian militants.

On 30 October, the holding of the pseudo-elections condemned at a meeting of the UN security Council. During a meeting of the eight member countries of the European Union urged the Russian authorities to stop the preparations for the illegal elections in occupied Donbas.
