Vladimir Putin signed the Federal law “On the unified information registry, containing data on population of the Russian Federation”. The document published on the official portal of legal information. It will store the name, numbers SNILS, INN, information about gender, nationality, marital status and date of birth.
The base will start work on 1 January 2023. It stated that the existence of the Federal register “will ensure the relevance and reliability of information about the population”. To manage the new database will be the Federal tax service (FNS). Access to it will have only a limited range of Agency staff, but the service will be able to provide information from the system in response to requests from other state agencies.
