Qualcomm introduced a new processor for smartphones Snapdragon 712. This is an improved version of the Snapdragon platform 710 and also focused on the use in smartphones average.
According to the resource 3DNews, Snapdragon processor 712 to be produced at 10-nanometer process technology FinFET, like its predecessor Snapdragon processor 710.
The main differences. New includes 8 CPU cores Kryo 360, which work with higher clock speed (2.3 GHz). Note, Snapdragon 710 frequency reached 2.2 GHz. According to the manufacturer, the new chip will offer a performance increase up to 10%.

Supports dual camera with a resolution of 20 MP and a single camera with a resolution up to 32 Megapixels. There’s also a Snapdragon X15 LTE modem, which provides download speed and transfer to 800 and 150 Mbps, respectively.
